Agricultural Credit Discount Fond (ACDF Credit line) - Following the Government decision and under the Agreement signed between the Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion (MBDP) and Ministry of Finance of RM, starting at July 1, 2010 MBDP has taken over the responsibility for administration of ACDF credit line.
ACDF credit line is intended for crediting of primary agricultural producers, agro-processing SMEs and agro-export SMEs and it represents significant government instrument aimed to overcome the problems they are facing in obtaining finances for their investment.
ACDF loans are disbursed through participating financial institutions .

16.07.2010 - The fourth tranche of the EIB credit line was withdrawn and disbursed to the commercial banks. The funds of this tranche in amount of EUR 5.55 million shall support 39 projects with an accounting value of EUR 10.7 million. It is expected 217 new jobs to be created.
Projects shall be realized through: Komercijalna banka ad Skopje, NLB Tutunska banka ad Skopje, Stopanska banka ad Bitola, Stopanska banka ad Skopje, IK banka ad Skopje, Ohridska banka ad Ohrid and Prokredit banka ad Skopje.
70% of the credit funds are intended for investment credits (with repayment period of up to 5 years) and 30% for working capital credits (with 3-year repayment period).
MBDP prepares for withdrawing the fifth tranche of the EIB credit.

16.04.2010 - The third tranche of the EIB credit line was withdrawn and disbursed to the commercial banks. The funds of this tranche in amount of EUR 11.4 million shall support 47 projects with an accounting value of EUR 35 million. It is expected 351 new jobs to be created.
Projects shall be realized through: Komercijalna banka ad Skopje, NLB Tutunska banka ad Skopje, Stopanska banka ad Bitola, Stopanska banka ad Skopje, IK banka ad Skopje, Ohridska banka ad Ohrid, Prokredit banka ad Skopje and UNI banka ad Skopje.
75% of the credit funds are intended for investment credits (with repayment period of up to 5 years) and 15% for working capital credits (with 3-year repayment period).
MBDP prepares for withdrawing the fourth tranche of the EIB credit.

25.02.2010 - MBDP has signed its first Credit Insurance Policies against political risk, and by implementation of new financial instruments continues to support the Macedonian exporters in their efforts to increase the export of goods and services on foreign markets.

 

16.02.2010 - The second tranche of the EIB credit line was withdrawn and disbursed to the commercial banks.
The funds of this first tranche in amount of EUR 7.3 million shall support 33 projects with an accounting value of EUR 14,6 million. It is expected 462 new jobs to be created. Projects shall be realized through Komercialna Banka AD Skopje, NLB Tutunska Banka AD Skopje, Stopanska Banka AD Skopje, IK Banka AD Skopje, Ohridska banka AD Ohrid and Prokredit banka AD Skopje.
82% of the credit funds are intended for investment credits (with repayment period of up to 5 years) and 18% for working capital credits (with 3-year repayment period).
MBDP prepares for withdrawing the third tranche of the EIB credit line (there are approved projects for withdrawing of EUR 7 million until now).

 

26.01.2010 - Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion (MBDP) and Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) signed a Cooperation Agreement in Sofia , Bulgaria . On behalf of MBDP the Agreement was signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Dragan Martinovski and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Qenan Idrizi , and for and on behalf of BDB the Chairman of the Managing Board, Mr. Dimitar Dimitrov and the Vice-Chairman, Mr. Sasho Tchakalski. Signing this Agreement, MBDP continues the process of establishing cooperation with similar institutions aiming at establishing contacts and creating legal ground for the future cooperative business activities. Cooperation encompasses: exchange of information, cooperation on joint projects, and exchange of know-how regarding technical, commercial and financial aspects.
It is crucial to emphasize that Bulgarian Development Bank shall provide assistance to Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion conveying its own experience in utilization of the advantages of the European Investment Fund (EIF) especially of the CIP Programme (Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme).
Both Banks' experts work on creating application for taking part in the programmes of this Fund.

 

18.12.2009 - The first tranche of the EIB credit line was withdrawn and disbursed to the commercial banks.
The funds of this first tranche in amount of EUR12.4 million shall support 35 projects with an accounting value of EUR 35 million. It is expected 313 new jobs to be created. Projects shall be realized through Komercialna Banka AD Skopje, NLB Tutunska Banka AD Skopje, Stopanska Banka AD Bitola and IK Banka AD Skopje.
69% of the credit funds are intended for investment credits (with repayment period of up to 5 years) and 31% for working capital credits (with 3-year repayment period).
MBDP prepares for withdrawing the second tranche of the EIB credit line (there are approved projects for withdrawing of EUR 7 million until now).

19.10.2009 - "MBDP has approved the first Trade Credit Insurance Policy for the domestic market against short term commercial risks.
Thus, MBDP has commenced implementing the new product: domestic claim insurance targeted to assist domestic firms, in this period of impaired liquidity and increased problems of collecting receivables.

28.09.2009 - "During September, 2009 in order to promote and implement better the new EIB Credit Line, MBDP has made several presentations attended by the members of Economic Chamber of Macedonia, Macedonian Chambers of Commerce, Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, Organization of Employers of Macedonia, businessmen from the Pelagonija region..."

07.08.2009 - Information about EIB credit line

25.06.2009 - European Investment Bank and Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion have signed a Financial Agreement for implementation of a Credit Line of EUR 100.000.000 in the premises of the Ministry of Finance of Republic of Macedonia .
At least 70% of the credit funds shall be used for financing of small and medium-sized enterprises in Macedonia . EIB shall disburse the Credit in up to 25 tranches. The amount of each tranche of the Credit shall be a minimum of EUR 3.000.000. The funds shall be disbursed through the commercial banks in the RM.
In near future EIB is expected to verify the commercial banks proposed by MBDP. Upon that Intermediary Agreements will be signed and the carrying out of the first projects will follow.

27.05.2009 - On its working session held on 26 th of May, 2009 the Board of Directors of European Investment Bank - EIB, approved finalization of the EUR 100 million Loan. The EIB Loan is aimed to finance SMEs through projects in the field of knowledge economy, energy, environment etc.

03.12.2008 "The National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia has issued a Decision for beforehand consent for the Policy on Information System Safety. Thus, MBDP fulfills the National Bank requirements with regard to the safety of the information system."

October 15, 2008 "The Law on Modification and Amendments to the Law on Establishing the Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion has been published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia no. 130/08 "
