Starting tomorrow, July 15, at 9:00 a.m., the application for an interest-free loan from the "Covid 4" credit line begins. The public call for this credit line was announced on July 7, 2021, and will last 20 days.
For a loan with a possibility of a grant component of up to 50%, i.e. EUR 15,000, companies from the catering, transport, tourism, and event industry can apply; private healthcare institutions (PHI), sole proprietors, and artisans from all activities. Entities that used funds from Measure 1 of the fifth set of economic measures for financial support for salaries for February and March from the Public Revenue Office and entities that used a loan from "Covid 3" will not be able to use a loan from "Covid" 4". Entities who used a loan from "Covid 1" and/or "Covid 2" and have no outstanding obligations on the day of application (July 15, 2021) will be able to use a loan from "Covid 4".
The maximum loan amount is EUR 30,000, while the minimum loan amount is EUR 3,000. "Covid 4" loans will have a grace period of up to 12 months and a repayment period of up to 42 months.
The amount of loan that can be approved for entities depends on the drop in income in 2020, compared to 2019, namely:
- Subjects with a drop in income from 30% to 50% can apply for a maximum amount of loan which is: MKD 15,200 x 3 months x number of employees;
and
- Subjects with a drop in income over 50% can apply for a maximum amount of loan which is: MKD 22,000 x 3 months x number of employees.
Potential loan beneficiaries from this credit line should have a drop in income of at least 30% in 2020 compared to 2019, as well as principal and reserves of no less than 33% of the amount of the requested loan. The decision-making principle for the distribution of the available funds will be "first come, first served".
Borrowers of this credit line will be able to request a grant component of up to 50% of the loan amount. Entities that will show an increase in employees in 2021 compared to 2020 by at least 5%, will be able to use a 20% grant. Entities that show growth in total revenue of at least 10% for the same period will be able to use a 30% grant. Entities that will increase both the number of employees and total revenues will be able to use a grant of 50% of the loan amount.
The submission of loan requests will be performed electronically at the e-mail address: kreditiranjecovid4@mbdp.com.mk, starting from 07.15.2021 at 09:00.
