DBNM withdrew the fifth tranche in the amount of EUR 22.8 million for small and medium-sized companies from the European Investment Bank’s loan

The Development Bank withdrew the fifth tranche in the amount of EUR 22.8 million for small and medium-sized companies from the European Investment Bank’s loan. This tranche provides support to 43 projects of domestic small and medium-sized companies that will create 103 new jobs. 53.1% of the projects are companies from the production area.

This is also the last tranche of the EIB 6 credit line intended for small and medium-sized companies in the amount of EUR 100 million. This credit line provided support to 271 companies that had created 770 new jobs. The greatest support is provided to companies engaged in production i.e. 39%, then trade with 36%, transport with 8%, construction with  7%, and other.

 

 

Until now, 6 (six) credit lines have been withdrawn through the EIB whereas EUR 550 million have been invested to support 2,361 small and medium-sized companies in the country. 

 

The Development Bank, together with the Ministry of Finance, is in the phase of negotiations with the EIB for the provision of a new credit line to support small and medium-sized companies and for a green transition in the amount of EUR 100 million.
