CEB approves 50 million euro loans to back Macedonian economy through the Development Bank

The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), at the session held on November 17, 2023, made a decision to approve a Program Loan worth a total of EUR 50 million to the Development Bank of North Macedonia.
This loan will promote job creation by funding the eligible micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the Republic of North Macedonia for both investment and working capital.

The loan will be realized through commercial banks and will enable easier access to finance under extremely favorable conditions for MSMEs, improving their competitive advantage and strengthening their position in the creation and maintenance of jobs.
