An agreement was signed with the French Development Agency for a new EUR 50 million intended to support companies

The Government of RNM, the Ministry of Finance, and the Development Bank of North Macedonia through the French Development Agency provided new sources of funds to encourage the Macedonian economy to invest in green, social investments, and digitization in the amount of EUR 50.
 

The funds will be extended through the Development Bank of North Macedonia and will be available to end users through commercial banks in the country. Agreements were signed today by the Minister of Finance, Fatmir Besimi, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Development Bank of North Macedonia, Kire Naumov. The agreement on behalf of the French Development Bank was signed by Mathieu Wasser, Director of the French Development Agency for Europe and Asia.

Kire Naumov, CEO of DBNM, expressed his enthusiasm: "This long-term oriented collaboration with the French Development Agency heralds a new era for DBNM, enabling us to hence our role in fostering a climate finance offer and driving innovative, inclusive growth within the private sector ".
