Financing Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources – Financing ЕЕ & RES

• Energy efficiency (EE):
  The maximum value of the project is MKD 30,750,000
  
  DBNM will provide funds for up to 60% of the project amount, i. e. up to MKD 18,450,000
  
  The remaining minimum of 40% will be credited from other sources such as a loan from the intermediary bank or the investor's own funds (buildings, equipment, working capital, cash, etc.)
   
• Renewable energy sources (RES):
  The maximum value of the project is MKD 49,200,000
  
  DBNM will provide funds for up to 60% of the project amount, i. e. up to MKD 29,520,000.
  
  The remaining minimum of 40% will be credited from other sources such as a loan from the intermediary bank or the investor's own funds (buildings, equipment, working capital, cash, etc.)

• Energy efficiency (EE):
  up to 8 years with a grace period of up to 12 months included
   
• Renewable energy sources (RES):
  up to 12 years with a grace period of up to 24 months included

Up to 1.6% p.a.

Micro, small and medium enterprises as well as sole proprietors and artisans (whо pay taxes on real income).

Borrowers should meet the following criteria:

• They are registered in the Republic of North Macedonia,
• At least 51% are privately owned,
• They have no outstanding obligations to the state, proven by a certificate from the Public Revenue Office not older than 6 months from the date of submitting the loan application to the commercial bank,
• Are not in bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings,
• Have submitted an annual account to the Central Registry for the last fiscal year (currently for 2021), regardless of the months of operation,
• They have registered a beneficial owner in the Register of beneficial owners at the Central Registry of the RNM if it is a taxpayer (Current Financial Status for the beneficial owner, certificate of the beneficial owner),
• They have the necessary permits for the implementation of the EE or RES project,
• According to the data from the NBRNM credit register, not older than 3 months from the date of submission of the loan application, they are in a classification better than or equal to B or have no credit exposure. An exception is if the total credit exposure of the banks to a specific client is less than MKD 10,000.
