Financing Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources – Financing EE & RES – DBNM’s own funds

Objective of the loan:

The loans for energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy sources (RES) were established in order to provide favorable credit support during the realization of projects for energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in conditions of global energy and economic crisis.


Purpose of the loan:

Loans for energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy sources (RES) through participating banks are approved to support projects for investments in energy efficiency (energy saving) and renewable energy sources.


Sources of funds:

DBNM’s own funds.


Eligible beneficiaries:

Beneficiaries of the loans for energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy sources (RES) via participating banks can be micro, small and medium-sized enetrprises.



Terms and conditions of the loan:


Single loan amount for the final borrower:
  • Energy efficiency (EE):
    The maximum value of the loan is EUR 300,000.
    DBNM will provide funds for up to 80% of the project amount, while the remaining 20% ​​will be credited from other sources such as a loan from the intermediary bank or the investor's own funds (buildings, equipment, working capital, cash, etc.).
    Up to 30% of the loan amount can be used for working capital.
     
  • Renewable energy sources (RES):
    • The maximum value of the loan is EUR 500,000.
    DBNM will provide funds for up to 80% of the project amount, while the remaining 20% ​​will be credited from other sources such as a loan from the intermediary bank or the investor's own funds (buildings, equipment, working capital, cash, etc.).
    Up to 30% of the loan amount can be used for working capital.
Repayment period:
  • Energy efficiency (EE):
    up to 8 years with a grace period of up to 12 months included
     
  • Renewable energy sources (RES):
    • up to 12 years with a grace period of up to 24 months included
Interest rate for the borrowers:

Up to 2,9% per annum.
Eligible beneficiaries:

Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
Purpose:
  • Financing projects for energy efficiency EE (energy saving)
  • Financing projects for renewable energy sources RES (hydropower, geothermal energy, biomass energy, wind energy, solar energy, etc.)
